Balmy weather conditions to prevail over Tamil Nadu

Southwest Monsoon has advanced into some parts of north Arabian sea. Conditions are favourable for advancement of SWM into some more parts of north Arabian Sea, Gujarat State, remaining parts of Maharashtra, some more parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, remaining parts of Odisha, West Bengal and some parts of  Jharkhand and Bihar during next 48 hour. Monsoon showers continues to drench coastal Karnataka and Kerala. Scattered showers are likely over parts of Interior Karnataka, Telengana and Andhra Pradesh. Isolated showers for Tamil Nadu likely with favorable winds and atmospheric instability.

CITY OUTLOOK:

Chennai – A hot day with highs around 37/38C and minimum temperature around 28C with chances of thundershowers in the evening.

Vellore – A day high of 37/38C with lows around 26/27C with evening or late night showers likely.

Trichy – A day with max temperature of 38/39C and minimum temperature around 28C.

Madurai – A day with temperature rising to 37/38C and minimum temperature of 28/29C with fair chances of rain.

Coimbatore – A day with temperature hovering around 31/32C. Chances of isolated showers likely.
