Bay of Bengal under close vigil

The Cyclone Okchi weakened into a deep depression in the Arabian sea, it’s expected to further weaken and dissipate in sea or at best cross South Gujarat coast as a weak skeleton / maximum a depression. The well-marked low over south east bay of Bengal soon to be a depression, is expected to further intensify into a Deep depression and track west/north west ward towards the eastern coast of the peninsula. This would be under a close vigil in the days to come.

Heavy rains with Squally winds are possible in north-coastal Maharastra ,south Gujarat & Andaman’s for next 24 hours.
