Heat factor firmly in the driver’s seat over TN

With hardly any change in the current weather scenario, heat wave conditions would continue over isolated areas of North Odisha and pockets of Bihar. Almost the entire north east regions of the country to witness thunderstorms and squally weather over the weekend.
Moving south wards, there seems to be no let up whatsoever in the prevailing conditions. Interiors of TN would see a similar heat pattern with the day highs hovering around 39-40 degrees. Coastal TN including Chennai to experience moderate weather with the aid of sea based winds with an high relative humidity factor.
