As a result of active monsoon conditions, isolated rainfall is likely to occur over South Tamil Nadu while remaining parts of the state are expected to be dry. Heavy rainfall is likely to occur over parts of extreme South Tamil Nadu. Dry weather is likely to return as we move into next week, signalling cessation of Northeast monsoon rains over Southern Peninsula.
Moving up north, cold wave conditions would prevail over parts of Rajasthan, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Odisha and Himachal Pradesh. Foggy conditions are expected to prevail over parts of Uttar Pradesh and north eastern states.
