Isolated Thunderstorm activity possible in TN

The upper air circulation over northwest and west central Bay of Bengal off south Odisha/north Andhra coast persists between 3.1Km and 9.5Km above Mean sea level.
The east-west shear zone along 17N latitude also persists.
Tamil Nadu may expect isolated thunderstorm activity in the evening/night. Isolated heavy rains might be expected over Coastal Karnataka.

Chennai – Cloudy and slightly breezy start to the day with the maximum showing a slight dip to hover around 35 to 36 degrees and a minimum of around 27 degrees, chances of light to moderate rains in few areas.

Madurai – A partly cloudy sky with maximum of around 38 degrees and thundery development possible towards late evening.

Trichy – A maximum of around 39 degrees and a minimum of around 27 degrees.

Coimbatore – A relatively pleasant day with maximum of around 32 degrees and minimum of 25 degrees with light rains.

Vellore – Cloudy skies with maximum of around 37 degrees and a minimum of 27 degrees, thundery development later in the day.
