Low pressure forms along the eastern arm of the Monsoon trough

The Monsoon circulation and the associated rain bearing systems all set to bring continued heavy rainfall across south peninsular India and the west coast. A low pressure area has formed over the north west Bay of Bengal and the adjoining areas with its cyclonic circulation seen extending up to 7.6 km above mean sea level. Under it’s influence heavy to very heavy with isolated extremely heavy falls likely over parts of central India and west coast. North India to see rainfall increasing in the days to come with activate conditions setting in. Isolated rains can be expected over Tamil Nadu as well.
