Cyclonic circulation is expected to form over North West Bay of Bengal by tomorrow. It is expected to bring the monsoon on track for the core Monsoon zones of Central India and West coast. Given the current position of the monsoon axis in the foothills of Himalayas, heavy rains are seen over Assam Meghalaya and Sub Himalayan West Bengal. Once cyclonic circulation materialises, the axis will be pulled southwards to it’s normal position.
Kerala, Coastal Karnataka will see revival of Monsoon rains from tomorrow turning vigorous through the weekend and into the week after. As Westerlies strengthen, convective rains will decrease in frequency over Tamilnadu and rains if any would be isolated to few patches. Seasonal windy conditions will show up once again keeping the temperatures cosy over interiors.
