Monsoon to slow down for a while

The ongoing active spells over Kerala is expected to slow down for a while providing space for rescue operations to speed up before next active phase gears up early next week, however isolated moderate to heavy spells can’t be ruled out. Up North monsoon will be active over East central and adjoining northern parts of the country.

Meanwhile scattered Thunderstorm activity to continue over North coastal Tamilnadu aided by developing UAC over West central Bay, remaining parts of Tamilnadu to see seasonal Weather with isolated Thunderstorm prospects.

Chennai – Warm and humid with Max of 35C and Min of 27C. Scattered showers in the vicinity.

Coimbatore – Mostly cloudy with Max of 30C and Min of 22C with one or two passing showers.

Madurai – Sunny day with Max of 37C and Min of 26C.

Trichy – Warm day with Max of 36C and Min of 26C.

Vellore – Partly cloudy and warm with Max of 36C and Min of 27C. Isolated storms possible.
