Monsoon wheels set to rotate again after a stall

After a stall of almost a week in west coast, monsoon is all set to emancipate and come to its usual terms as the westerlies surge across the Arabian sea all the way from Somalia in the form of low level jet. Conditions are quickly turning in favour of monsoon ascendance in latitudes along the west coast, all the way from Karwar, Goa to parts of South Konkan in the next 24hours, as the surge covers vast expanses of the Arabian sea. Active monsoon conditions will return back in coherence with the aforementioned observations.

Heavy to very heavy rains are forecast along isolated patches of West coast covering Goa, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala inclusive of Ghats. It should be noted that localised flooding and mudslides can possibly happen. On the leeward side of the ghats, surface westerlies sweep across most of Tamilnadu bringing hot weather to the coastal areas but interiors should rain warm and bearable. Isolated storms cannot be ruled out by evening.
