Rain fest to continue over West Coast

As SouthWest Monsoon has further advanced into most parts of Central Arabian Sea, Heavy rains at a few places with very heavy rains at isolated places shall be the norm of the day over Coastal Karnataka, Coastal Kerala, North Konkan and Madhya Maharastra, Marathawada, Vidarba, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Northwest Bay of Bengal. Conditions are likely to become favorable for further advance of SouthWest Monsoon into some more parts of West Bengal, Odisha and some parts of Jharkhand and Bihar during the subsequent 48 hours.

Dry weather set to prevail in most parts of TN, except ghats section of interior TN and parts of Kanyakumari district.

City Outlook:

Chennai – A bright day with temperature around 37/38C and minimal chances of rain.

Vellore – Day temperatures are set to soar at 38 / 39C.

Trichy – Dry day on cards with day temperature peaking at 36 / 37C.

Madurai – A day with temperature hovering around 38C.

Coimbatore – A cool day with temperature around 31/32C.
