A low pressure area is likely to develop over the North Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood during the next 36 hours. An upper air cyclonic circulation lies over East Central Arabian Sea of Karnataka & Kerala Coast. All these weather occurrences would induce significant rains over south interior Karnataka ,many north interior and coastal districts of TN during the next 24 hours.

Areas bordering Karnataka like Erode, Dharmapuri, Salem & Nilgiri districts may see some rains with few areas in these districts set to register heavy rains for the day
