Scattered Thunderstorms to dot west interior TN skies

Sub Tropical Westerly jet has shifted southwards and South Peninsula has come under its purview. Wind confluence(from east) has augmented this phenomenon and the resultant is the advent of Thundershowers over interior parts of the south Peninsula (TN, Kerala and SI Karnataka) where the unseasonal rains had already shown its face. Today is expected to be no different with thundershowers blooming over the places adjacent to the ghats.

Partly sunny skies in the afternoon will make way for dark clouds to gather around and produce thunderstorms in these places.
