Temperatures to remain under control

Overall Tamil Nadu remains not too hot as almost all places have recorded a notch lower temperature than expected and this trend might continue for the next few days too. Today isolated Thunderstorms are possible in Southern districts of Tamil Nadu and parts of Northwestern districts especially near Ghats region.

Up north, Heavy rains with Squally winds are expected in parts of Northwestern States & Gangetic Plain. Northeastern states, South Interior Karnataka and Kerala might have Thunderstorms.

Chennai – A partly cloudy sky with an expected maximum of around 36 degrees and a minimum of 28 degrees.

Coimbatore – A cloudy day with a high of 34 degrees and a low of 23 degrees. Thunderstorms are expected in the vicinity.

Madurai – A cloudy day with a Maximum of 36 degrees and a minimum of 27 degrees. Thunderstorms are expected in parts of city and surroundings.

Tiruchi – Hot day is expected with a Partly cloudy sky. High of 39 degrees and a low of 27 degrees.

Vellore – A hot cloudy day with a Maximum of 38 degrees and a minimum of 26 degrees.
