Thunderstorms stay true to their Pact with Tamil Nadu

The axis of the monsoon lies further north- almost near the foot hills of Himalayas. Heavy precipitation would be confined to zones along Himalayan region, East and north east India. It is expected to be moderate over the west coast and isolated over rest of the country.

Many locations across Tamil Nadu have been receiving copious amount of rain in the past few days. Still parts of the state could get isolated thunderstorms as the break conditions are likely to persist for the remainder of this week. An upper air cyclonic circulation off North Tamil nadu coast looks to trigger some isolated showers over the Northern parts of the state.
