The Well-marked Low pressure area over Coastal Odisha and adjoining North West Bay of Bengal is expected to steer west into Odisha and across the heart of Central Indian region of Chattisgarh,Vidharbha, Madhyapradesh and Gujarat bringing Heavy to Very Heavy downpours at many places in the aforementioned region during the next 4-5 days. This robust system, in turn, will conspire to setup phenomenal monsoon flows across the West coast and bring in Tremendous rainfall activity over the region. At the same time, dry and windy conditions are slated to continue over most parts of Tamil Nadu with the exception of ghat region of Nilgiris, Coimbatore,Theni and Tirunelveli districts., where active monsoon conditions are expected to continue unabated for one more week.
