Evening Thunderstorms likely to light up the skies over TN

The axis of the monsoon trough currently runs across the Northern plains from Punjab to Northeast Bay of Bengal.
This feature with embedded Upper Air circulations is likely to result in heavy rains at isolated places over MP, Bihar, Jharkhand, Bengal, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, UP and East Rajasthan and the NE states.
Very heavy rains likely at isolated places over the Himalayan foothills in the states of HP, Uttarakhand, Sikkim and Himalayan West Bengal. Strong thunderstorms likely at isolated places over Rayalaseema and South Interior Karnataka.
Most parts of interior TN are likely to experience thunderstorms during the evening/night accompanied by squall winds, with heavy rainfall possible at isolated places over North interior TN and interior delta regions.
Heavy rainfall likely over the ghats of West TN. Light to moderate thundershowers likely over parts of Coastal TN.
