Interesting Week ahead

The low-pressure area(LPA) over east central Arabian sea and another trough of low(Low) over southwest bay Bengal likely to contribute significant changes in the atmosphere in southern peninsular India. The LPA in the Arabian sea is currently moving toward the North, and based on forecast steering and current guidance, we expect this motion to continue for a while until dissipation. Global models are in fair agreement of a low-pressure system developing in the Bay of Bengal this week. The possibility of a tropical deep depression or Tropical Storm is not out of the realm of possibilities at the moment. However, we will monitor this situation for any significant changes, especially the upper level pattern.
