Larger areas of TN to stay dry with miniscule chance of Precipitation

The South West monsoon Swan Song seems to be more vocal over the Gujarat state, parts of Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan & Goa. Meanwhile, the withdrawal of the said monsoon is in a mood to bid good bye over regions of North west India during the next day or two.
Down south, there seem to be hardly any change whatsoever in the prevailing dry and warm conditions. This is expected to continue over the next few days. Isolated eventing thunderstorms are a possibility over central TN and pockets of coastal TN and Pondy. Rest of the regions will remain largely dry with miniscule chance of precipitation.

City Outlook:

Chennai – Few scattered clouds at dawn. An hazy and warm day beckons the region. A high of 34 and a low of 27 degrees is expected. A stray shower cannot be ruled out.

Madurai – Hot weather conditions continues to desist as above normal day highs seems to be the order of the day. Mercury to peak at 37 degrees.
Trichy – A scorcher of a day in prospect. Max temperature may peak at 38 degrees with a possibility of some late evening showers to cool down.
Vellore – A calm morning bereft of any breeze. A high of 32 degrees, thanks to few patchy cloud cover. A shower or two later in the day.
