Rains from the SW Bay trough has come to a merry end for North Tamil Nadu. South Tamil Nadu and Delta regions are expected to receive showers for the next 24 hours. Another System is expected to move towards Sri Lanka and under the influence of this system Isolated regions over South Tamil Nadu is expected to see isolated downpours from 6th of this month. As far as Chennai is concerned rains are expected to take a needful break for Diwali shopping and rain prospects for this week looks less. Initial forecasts indicate positive signs for rains over Chennai and surroundings between 10-20th of this month.
Temperatures are set to be pleasant around 29-30c over Coastal regions. Parts of Coastal Tamil Nadu are expected to experience intermittent showers.
