No respite from heat foreseen for TN

There shall be no respite from heat with maximum and minimum temperatures appreciably above normal (3.1C to 5.0C) at most places over Tamilnadu and Puducherry.
The Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation (UAC) over Odhisha and adjoining Chhattisgarh and another UAC over eastcentral Arabian Sea & adjoining Konkan coast persists.  Rains at many places very likely over extreme South peninsula, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and northeastern states. Conditions are favourable for further withdrawal of south west monsoon from most parts of Northwest India and some parts of Central and Western India during next 3 days.
City Outlook:
Chennai – A hot and humid conditions will continue with slight chances of showers in the evening. Maximum temperature to be around 37-38 C.
Madurai – No respite from the heat conditions prevailing with temperatures hovering around 38C.
Trichy – Blistering heat ahead for Trichy as temperatures could soar up to 36-37 C. Showers possible in the evening.
Vellore – Maximum temperatures to be around 34-35 C. Thundershowers can be expected by late evening.
Coimbatore – A moderately hot day ahead with mild maximum temperatures of 32-33 C. Trace of rains possible.
