North Coastal TN under the Monsoon Umbrella

The well marked low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood now lies over southwest and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood. Under the influence of Well Marked Low Pressure (WML) heavy to very heavy rainfall possible at Isolated places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Moderate to Heavy rains likely over North Coastal Tamil Nadu and Rayalaseema. Weather is likely to be dry over remaining parts of the country. Numerical Models expects low to move North.

Shallow to Moderate fog possible in morning hours at Isolated places of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and other north and northeast parts of Country.


City Outlook:

Chennai – Cool and rainy day ahead with max temperature settling around 27c and min temp around 23c.

Vellore – Overcast weather with maximum temp may touch 29c and minimum temp around 25c. Light rains possible.

Trichy – Partly cloudy skies with maximum temperature around 32-33c and min around 24c.

Madurai – On and Off sunshine and Maximum temperature may shoot upto 33c and Min possible around 24c.

Coimbatore – Partly cloudy skies with maximum temperature possibly around 30c and min of about 21c.
