Rains likely to recede as Deep Depression moves away

The Deep Depression over Arabian sea has intensified into cyclonic storm “Maha” and is expected to move Northwest wards away from Indian Mainland. During the next 12 hours. Thereby, likely decrease in rains over North Tamil Nadu and rest of the state. This is likely to be followed by a dry period from early next week.
Meanwhile The very severe cyclonic storm “Kyarr” is likely to weaken in the next 24 hours as it moves Southwest in the Arabian sea. Fortunately Both the cyclones are likely to have no or minimal effect on the Indian subcontinent.
