Easterly wave activity associated with a feeble trough of low is currently causing wet weather over parts of Tamilnadu for past 2 days and the same will linger around for another day or two. Showery weather is forecast for few places in Coastal and Interior Tamilnadu with a mix of sun and clouds. Patchy rains are extending to Rayalaseema, parts of North Karnataka and Coastal AP as well under the trough influence.
A low pressure watch is in place over Bay on 6th and 9th December but it’s eventual trajectory is unclear with a Westerly trough cutting across the Peninsula. Up North, full blown wintry weather is still few days away as maximum and minimum temperatures continue to remain few notches above normal even as Seasonal fog prevails over North West India in patches.
