Slightly Above normal temperatures to be norm of the day in most parts of TN

The low pressure area over Gangetic West Bengal & adjoining areas of Jharkhand, now lies over Jharkhand & adjoining Gangetic West Bengal.
The associated upper air cyclonic circulation extends upto 4.5 km above mean sea level. South West Monsoon will be active over Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
Maximum temperatures will be above normal at many places over Vidarbha and Coastal Andhra Pradesh and at a few places over Uttarkhand and Tamil Nadu.
City Outlook:
Chennai – Mainly clear sky with maximum of 36 degrees and a minimum around 26-27 degrees.
Madurai – To have maximum temperature of around 36 degrees C and a minimum of around 25C.
Trichy – Mainly clear sky with maximum of around 35 degrees and a minimum of 26 to 27 degrees.
Coimbatore – Generally cloudy skies with the maximum being an above normal 33 degrees and a minimum at a pleasant 22 degrees.
Vellore – Another sunny day with maximum of around 36-37 degrees and a minimum of 25 degrees.
