Monsoon circulation continue to linger over eastern India  setting up the mechanism for rains over the region. Numerical weather models shows a fresh low pressure system developing over west central Bay of Bengal off Andhra Pradesh coast  in next 48hrs.
The trough will extend south from this system and will act as the trigger for the increase in rainfall activity over south peninsular India particularly Coastal AP, Telangana, Karnataka & parts of TN next week starting by this weekend.
Most parts of TN will see above normal max temp for next few days with increase in rainfall activity from 11th Sep in north and central parts of TN. Isolated evening thundershowers might occur over one or two regions of districts like Tiruvallur, Chennai, Kanchipuram, Pudhukottai, Nagai and Delta districts for next 2 days and gradually increase there after.
City Outlook:
Chennai – City likely to see  warm conditions with max of 36-37. Isolated showers may happen in one or two places.
Vellore – Yet another day of hot conditions with a max peaking near 37-38c.
Trichy – City would see hot, sultry conditions with max near 36c.
Madurai – Clear skies with the mercury  touching 36c.
Coimbatore – Not much of a change seen here. City would see identical conditions seen over the past few days. Temp might touch 33c.
