The extended trough across Kerala and Tamilnadu into the bay continues to persist creating instability needed to trigger thunderstorms.

Vellore – Moderate chances of thunderstorms with a high of about 33 degrees and a low of about 23 degrees.
Tiruchi – Mostly sunny during the day with a high of about 35 degrees. Isolated thunderstorm could bring sharp showers towards the evening.
Madurai – Partly cloudy and warm with a high of about 37 degrees and a low of about 28 degrees.
Coimbatore – Partly cloudy and breezy with a high of about 31 degrees and a low of about 23 degrees.
